US Airways

US Airways was a major American airline that ceased its operations on October 17, 2015. The airline got merged with American Airline  which is headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas.

US Airways was founded in 1937 as All American Aviation, and commenced operations in 1939. With a fleet of 343 mainline jet aircraft, as well as 278 regional jet and turbo-prop aircraft, the airline operated an extensive domestic and international network, serving 193 destinations in 24 nations in the North America, South America, Europe, and the Middle East. US Airways was headquartered at Tempe, Arizona, United States, and has its hubs at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Philadelphia International Airport, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. US Airways was a member of Star Alliance, and was an affiliate member of Oneworld. US Airways subsidiaries include - Piedmont Airlines, and PSA Airlines. The airline’s parent company was American Airlines Group.
