Satena Airlines

The Colombian regional airline, Satena, is based in Bogota and operates flights throughout Colombia. Satena flies to 33 destinations in South America. Key destinations include Cali, Bucaramanga, Barranquilla, Medellin, Pasto and Tumaco. Satena was launched by the Colombian Government in 1962 to provide air transportation to the remoter regions of Colombia. By 2007 it has grown into a major regional carrier operating a large number of domestic services on a very modern fleet of small commuter aircraft. 

Cities served in Colombia include Apartadó, Arauca, Armenia, Bahía Solano, Barranquilla, Bogotá (El Dorado International Airport), Bucaramanga, Buenaventura, Cali, Corozal, Cúcuta, Florencia, Guapi, Ipiales, La Pedrera, La Macarena, Leticia, Medellín, Mitú, Neiva, Nuquí, Pasto, Pereira, Popayán, Providencia Island, Puerto Asís, Puerto Carreño, Inirida, Puerto Leguízamo, Quibdó, San José del Guaviare, San Vicente del Caguán, Saravena, Tame, Tumaco and Villavicencio.
